Hi there lovely people!

Just incase you weren’t able to join our London fair last weekend I wanted to introduce you to the wonderful band that is The Daisy Chains. Not only did they entertain our guests and exhibitors wonderfully but they helped create the really fun and lovely atmosphere that we had at the fair and not only did I see smiles being shared but toes tapping and a little bopping too!

If you’re on the hunt for wedding entertainers you could do so much worse than to work with these ladies. Organised, professional, beautiful and really blooming good they really are sure fire winners! Book them I say - book them now!

……

Hi there! My name is Sophie and I run and perform in The Daisy Chains.

Coming from a background in musical theatre I noticed the sheer amount of talented girls out there, and decided to create a unique platform for this talent.

Having been in the West End show ‘Dreamboats and Petticoats’ I grew to love the fantastic music and fashions from the 1950’s and 60’s and decided to create The Daisy Chains with some of the girls from the show.

All 6 girls play an instrument (guitar, drums, bass guitar, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone and trumpet), sing lead vocals and in close harmony. The result is quite a spectacle!

We have performed at many weddings (including a footballer’s wedding and a civil ceremony)- often with a 50’s theme. Our favourite being our very own Bass Player Daisy, Ru! She walked down the aisle to us playing ‘Tutti Fruitti’! We then enjoyed the fantastic tea party and hog roast before rock ‘n’ rolling into the night!

We had a request at the Civil Ceremony to sing ‘At Last’ by Etta James (a wonderful song). The couple thought it would be fun for us to put our ‘Daisy Stamp’ on it so we created a special rock ‘n’ roll version especially for them. They were over the moon and it is now a favourite song of ours to play.

We have so much fun in The Daisy Chains but the best part of our job is seeing people enjoy our music on the day. Planning a wedding can be a stressful thing (I should know- I’ve been there!) but seeing everyone let their hair down at the end of the night, dancing to our music is the best thing ever!
