We are so unbelievably excited to share that the fresh, wonderful and unique Marshmallow Apothecary, created by the beauty minds behind The Robin Collective will be exhibiting at our Chelsea Fair on the 5th of May 2013 – prescribing delectable little culinary delights to satisfying your every need.

Fresh from a successful run of their pop up shop, Marshmallow Apothecary - a fully interactive experience where customers were diagnosed and given bespoke prescriptions (made up from a large selection of artisan Medicinal Marshmallows) – have curated and constructed events for clients such as The V&A, Courvoisier, 100% Design, Icon Magazine, Pinkberry and Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.

Marshmallow Apothecary pops up across London, from Carnaby Street to Shoreditch, offering free consultations and marshmallow prescriptions to visitors. Herbal remedies for anything from common colds to a lack of libidinousness, all come in delicious marshmallow form tailored to you. Part sugary pharmacy, part cosy lounge, the pop-up also featured a room filled with giant marshmallow pillows making it the ultimate haven to enjoy a cocktail and marshmallow combination in.

“A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down” … that’s exactly the formula used here.

The beautiful minds behind all this are The Robin Collective, which formed in 2010 by Brandy Wright, Elspeth Rae and Robin Fegen, following a year of collaborating on experimental events and various freelance projects. Their events range from the mad and obscure to the more calm and non-offensive, but always with a nod towards the bizarre and unexpected.

The Robin Collective are active members of the Experimental Food Society, created by Alexa Perrin, and have recently launched Historical Bitters alongside their colour-changing cocktail, the Bizarregarita.
