Hey peeps

Im super chuffed (and a tad proud) to say that I was recently approached by our lovely friends at Alex Monroe to help them in finding some great people within the wedding industry to help in their annual ‘Tie the Knot’ wedding promotion week. Thankfully we have an abundance of great vendors, designer makers and all around brilliant people on our books through the fairs and pinpointed a handful who we thought would compliment their ethos perfectly and I just want to say a big THANK YOU! to those fab peeps for joining in to being part of something lovely!

As an added bonus little ole me was invited along to their bloggers breakfast yesterday. Its so nice being invited along to an event, especially when you’ve been a massive fan of their work - and believe me, I’ve been a fan of Alex’s work since he first popped onto the scene with those famous bumble bee necklaces, his jewellery is completely always my go to.

Now if you haven’t already checked out the shop or website, don’t wait any longer - his style is natural, elegant, delicate, whimsical, romantic - oh I could go on but then I’d just be presenting you with a list! I simply don’t know anyone that a part of their range wouldn’t appeal to.

So, I arrived there to be greeted by the lovely smiley faces of the ladies that work at the shop, faced with an absolutely yummy looking breakfast courtesy of Lizi’s Granola and Bobo’s Juicery but being the magpie that I am made a beeline for everything sparkling and shining ‘me, me’ yup - I hear the call my pretties!

Not only does Alex Monroe offer a range of stunning stocked jewellery, but they also offer a Bespoke Fine Jewellery service, where you can work with the team to design your dream Alex Monroe engagement & wedding rings or precious bridal jewellery. From the example photo’s the lovely Susie (bespoke design manager) showed me, they’ve not only helped create bespoke pieces, but they’ve made heritage pieces, that something that will be handed down through generations telling a story of people’s lives, what they did or lived out and shared - and thats something extra special.

Susie spoke to me about their working processes also, how they work with particular suppliers to ensure the best quality and grade in their precious stones, how they use rare stones for the perfect colours. She explained how they don’t create waste and re-use metals, also how they can work with you to design something personal, individual and unique. And yes I had 100 things running through my mind at the time about what I would do given chance to create my dream piece!

Chaps - if you’re out there reading this and would like to make a girls dreams come true in really unique style, pop on over to Alex Monroe and have a chat. Its really not as scary as you think! The team know people so well I’m sure you wouldn’t find anyone better equipt to assist you in finding something unique to reflect your ladies personality.

Ladies - if you’d like to view all things wedding along with the various collections stocked, want some inspiration, bridesmaids gift or grooms special something, or just like to cultivate your inner magpie, the ‘Tie the Knot’ promotion is running until end of the day Saturday at the Snowsfield (London Bridge) boutique.

Lastly but by all means not least I would like once more to thank Alex and his lovely team for a great insight into the design house, process and just what it is that makes his brand so special. As if I wasn’t won over already (but now am all over again), I now have this glorious addition for my collection – in rose gold, to compliment my engagement ring of course! (because I can!). xo
